5-star Wideout Returning to Clemson AFter Rejecting Several Offers

One in-state wide receiver is set to make it back to Clemson next month.

2027 wideout Darius Carter (Ridge View) will work out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on June 3.

Carter visited for two games last fall, with his last coming for the rivalry matchup against the Gamecocks in late November. He has also worked out at camp multiple times in the past, and his goal is to earn an offer from the Tigers at some point.

“It would just make me stop, sit there and be like, ‘wow, all this hard work that I put in paid off,’” Carter told TCI in a previous interview. “To just finally get noticed by one of my dream schools. It would really mean a lot just knowing that I put in all the work to just take it up to the next level, into the D-1 level.”

The 5-foot-11 wideout already has several offers, including Charlotte, ETSU, ECU and Florida A&M.
