Meadows’ recruitment has been difficult to predict, with LSU being the favorite before Friday. A delay is usually not good news for the favorite, although there have been exceptions, such as when Andrew Olesh postponed his commitment by a week but still chose Michigan.

Notre Dame and LSU are still the most likely destinations for Meadows. However, Michigan has recently secured some significant recruiting wins over both schools, making it a possibility. Michigan also leads for another top-100 wideout, Andrew Marsh. While the Wolverines haven’t been known for landing top-tier wide receivers, they’ve recruited solid prospects in recent years.
Andrew Marsh and Derek Meadows are exceptional talents. If Michigan can secure one or both, it would be a tremendous recruiting success for Sherrone Moore.
