JUST IN: Dolphins’ star player spotted wearing hand brace in training

The Miami Dolphins are already facing a series of injuries, and now their star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, may be added to that list. According to the NFL Network, Hill was spotted wearing a removable brace on his right hand and did not participate in catching drills during Tuesday’s practice.

The extent of Hill’s potential injury remains unclear, and with head coach Mike McDaniel not addressing the media on Tuesday, no immediate explanation was provided for Hill’s use of the brace. Despite the brace, Hill was still in full uniform and wore his helmet during practice.

Last season, Hill led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,799 and was tied with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Mike Evans for the most receiving touchdowns at 13.

Miami’s wide receiver situation is becoming increasingly worrisome. Odell Beckham Jr. is on the PUP list with an undisclosed injury and hasn’t practiced during training camp, Jaylen Waddle has been sidelined for two weeks with an undisclosed injury, and River Cracraft is expected to miss time due to an upper-body injury.

While Hill’s presence on the field is crucial for the Dolphins, his importance is amplified as other wide receivers on the team are dealing with their own injuries.

In early August, Hill restructured his contract into a three-year deal worth $90 million, with $65 million guaranteed. The 30-year-old joined the Dolphins in 2022 after spending his first six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won a Super Bowl after the 2019 season.
