DONE DEAL: Seahawks Commits 5-star Players Over Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos

The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are both entering this season with playoff aspirations after finishing last year with identical 9-8 records. While the Packers came within three points of the NFC Championship, the Seahawks narrowly missed the postseason.

Just days before the 2024 season kicks off, Seattle made a move by signing a former Packers player. According to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic, the Seahawks added defensive end Kenneth Odumegwu and defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna to their practice squad, releasing DT Kyon Barrs and OL Max Pircher in the process.

Odumegwu, who had signed with the Packers earlier this year under the NFL International Player Pathway, was waived by Green Bay on August 21 after recording one tackle in the preseason. Following his release, the Packers added kicker Alex Hale through the same pathway. Odumegwu now gets a new opportunity in Seattle to make an NFL roster.
