Cowboys Provide Injury Update Ahead of Week 1 Matchup with Browns
On Thursday, the Cowboys added rookie cornerback Caelen Carson to their injury report due to a knee issue. Although it’s common for midweek additions to indicate a practice injury, Carson participated fully in practice.

Aaron Kasinitz from lonestarlive.com reported that Carson was seen walking without a limp in the locker room after practice.

Head coach Mike McCarthy is expected to address the situation in a Friday press conference, with the team’s status report set to follow.

The Cowboys are relying on Carson, a fifth-round pick, to fill in for Pro Bowl cornerback DaRon Bland, who is sidelined after foot surgery. Andrew Booth and Israel Mukuamu, who together have only five career starts, are alternatives if Carson can’t play.
