BREAKING: Bills urged to Trade another top-star with superstar Potential

The Buffalo Bills are considering a potential trade for Las Vegas Raiders star receiver Davante Adams, according to a report from Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. Breer mentioned that the Bills, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, have shown interest in a deal for Adams.

However, the Bills are facing salary cap challenges, making a trade difficult. If Adams were traded before Week 5, his new team would be responsible for over $13 million, with the amount decreasing by about $940,000 each week. Adams is also under contract for two more seasons, with $35.6 million owed in both 2025 and 2026.

Despite the financial hurdles, Adams would be an exciting addition to Buffalo. Although quarterback Josh Allen has emphasized the shared nature of the Bills’ offense, they currently lack a true No. 1 receiver and rank 20th in passing yards per game (305.8).

Breer also noted that teams like the Bills believe Adams may be trying to engineer a trade to the New York Jets to reunite with Aaron Rodgers, his former Green Bay Packers teammate. So far this season, Adams has recorded 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown but is expected to miss Week 5 due to a hamstring injury.
