BREAKING NEWS: Bills to trade $100 Million 5-star

The Buffalo Bills have been linked to a possible trade for a five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver following their second consecutive loss. After a 23-20 defeat to the Houston Texans on Sunday, speculation has arisen about whether the Bills will make a move to bolster their offense.

Despite a strong second-half rally that tied the game at 20-20, the Bills were ultimately defeated by Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 59-yard field goal as time expired. Buffalo, which started the season 3-0 while averaging over 37 points per game, has only managed 30 total points in the last two games.

What Happened to Amari Cooper? NFL Injury Update

According to Bleacher Report’s NFL scouting department, trading for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper could be a potential solution. “If the Bills want to win in January and February, adding another weapon for Josh Allen would help,” the article suggested. “A receiving trio of Amari Cooper, (Keon) Coleman, and (Khalil) Shakir could make a difference.”

The report also pointed out that trading for Cooper might be easier than pursuing three-time All-Pro Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams, who has requested a trade. “The Browns don’t seem ready to compete this season, and Cooper has limited chemistry with Deshaun Watson,” the article noted. “Acquiring Cooper would also be more financially feasible than going after Adams.”

Cooper has become a potential trade candidate due to Cleveland’s struggles and the restructuring of his contract, which makes him an attractive option. The Browns converted most of his 2024 salary into a signing bonus, reducing his cap hit to $941,111, and just $605,000 by the trade deadline. This makes him an affordable target for contending teams. For the Bills, adding a reliable receiver like Cooper could be the boost their offense needs to regain momentum and strengthen their playoff prospects.
