The Baltimore Ravens promoted wide receiver Anthony Miller to their active roster on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Texans.
Miller, 30, was originally a second-round draft pick by the Bears in 2018. He was in the final year of his four-year, $5.35 million contract when Chicago traded him to the Texans, exchanging a seventh-round pick for a fifth-round pick.
In 2021, Miller was set to earn a non-guaranteed base salary of $1.21 million, but the Texans waived him in October. He later joined the Steelers’ practice squad and signed a futures deal for 2022, though he spent that season on injured reserve.
Miller re-signed with the Steelers in January on a one-year deal but was released later in the year. He then joined the 49ers in August but was waived during the team’s final roster cuts. In January, the Chiefs signed him to a futures deal, though he was released in May.
Afterward, the Ravens added Miller to their practice squad.
In 2021, Miller played in three games for the Texans and Steelers, recording six receptions for 26 yards and one touchdown.
