According to Mike Klis, the Broncos are releasing cornerback Levi Wallace today.
The veteran cornerback had seen playing time this season due to injuries but struggled to perform effectively, prompting Denver to explore other options.
Additionally, the Broncos designated running back Tyler Badie to return from injured reserve, as reported by Tom Pelissero, and promoted running back Blake Watson to the active roster, according to head coach Sean Payton via Chris Tomasson.
Wallace, 29, went undrafted out of Alabama in 2018 and later signed a three-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.
However, Buffalo waived Wallace at the start of the 2018 season, later adding him to their practice squad. He remained with the Bills on successive one-year contracts over the next two seasons before joining the Steelers on a two-year deal in 2022.
After completing his contract with Pittsburgh, Wallace entered free agency and signed with the Broncos during the offseason.
In 2024, Wallace played in 13 games for Denver, recording 28 total tackles and two pass deflections.
