A prominent player from the Wolves engages in discussions about a potential transfer following their presence at a match.

Wolves striker Nathan Fraser was present at a League One match on New Year’s Day, fueling speculation about a potential transfer in January. The 18-year-old was officially confirmed to have attended Shrewsbury Town’s 3-1 victory over Fleetwood Town at New Meadow on Monday.

Wolves granted Fraser permission to attend the match, and it is believed that he has been a sought-after target for the club’s director of football, Micky Mellon, for an extended period. Fraser previously trained with Mellon at his former club, Cheltenham Town, and Mellon maintained his interest in the player when he took charge at Shrewsbury.

Fraser, held in high regard by those at Molineux, might be presented with the chance to gain valuable first-team exposure in League One. Despite being a target for Shrewsbury Town in the summer, his departure was not allowed. Nevertheless, the current situation suggests that circumstances could now be different.
