Dakorien Moore, the wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, who has committed to LSU, recently stated that he’s still considering four schools, with Ohio State being one of them. He made a visit to Ohio State in March during one of their spring practices.
Brandon Inniss, a wide receiver for Ohio State, didn’t have much playing time last year despite being highly rated in the 2023 recruiting class. He played in only six games and had limited snaps. However, this wasn’t due to a lack of talent; Inniss is highly skilled. Similar to previous first-year receivers at Ohio State, like Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, Inniss had to wait his turn behind established players. Nonetheless, he aims to have a breakout sophomore season.
Described as one of the most competitive players on the team, Inniss attributes his drive to his upbringing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where competition is fierce. Although Ohio State fans haven’t seen much of his competitive side yet, his teammates recognize it well. Inniss is expected to step into a more prominent role as the primary slot receiver in the upcoming season.
Inniss believes he’s well-suited for the slot receiver position due to his quickness, elusiveness, strength, and ability to block effectively. His teammates, such as Carnell Tate, attest to his competitive nature. Inniss, who spent his final high school years at IMG Academy, understands what it means to be a fierce competitor.
With Ohio State’s spring practice concluding, Inniss feels more comfortable with the playbook and is playing faster without overthinking. Although he’s likely to see more playing time as a slot receiver in the upcoming season, Inniss remains focused on finishing the spring strong and continuing to work hard in preparation for fall camp.
Regarding college basketball, with spring practice ending across the country, several players have made significant impressions, signaling potential star performances in the upcoming 2024 season. Meanwhile, discussions about the top 25 rankings for the 2024-25 season are underway, with notable teams like Kansas, Gonzaga, North Carolina, Duke, Alabama, and others being considered for top spots.
