Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne junior quarterback Jaden O’Neal has finalized his commitment date and will reveal his decision on the 247Sports YouTube Channel.
O’Neal plans to announce his choice on Monday, June 24 during the College Football Recruiting Show at 4:00 PM (CT)/2:00 PM (PT).
His final five schools are Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Washington. He has already visited each of these programs and shared his thoughts on what he likes about each:
Florida State: “I appreciate the tradition and the coaching staff. My visit was excellent, and I felt very comfortable with everyone I met. The fan base is great, and they have a winning program with a lot to offer.”
Miami: “I am drawn to Miami’s winning culture and tradition. The staff is impressive, and Coach Cristobal is an outstanding recruiter, especially for linemen, which is crucial for a quarterback. I love the campus and the overall environment.”
Ohio State: “Ohio State has a great tradition and is known for winning. They excel at developing players and getting them to the NFL. Their recent offer meant a lot as they don’t offer many quarterbacks. It’s a fantastic school overall.”
Oklahoma: “Oklahoma balances football and academics well. The culture is strong, and the coaches genuinely care about their players as individuals. I’ve built great relationships with several coaches, including Coach Venables.”
Washington: “I’ve known the Washington staff for a long time since they recruited me at Arizona. I have a strong relationship with Coach Fisch. The academics at Washington are excellent, which is important to me, and there are many great opportunities on and off the field.”
O’Neal has had a standout off-season, establishing himself as a top recruit in the 2026 class. A skilled passer, he excelled at several events, including the Elite 11 Regional in Los Angeles, and was named the Alpha Dog at the Under Armour Next Camp in SoCal.
He is currently ranked No. 91 nationally in the Top247 and No. 6 among quarterbacks. In the 247Sports Composite, he is rated the No. 64 overall player and is poised for an outstanding junior season this fall.
