Malik Harrison, initially drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL draft as the 98th overall pick, has secured a new contract with the team. As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he has agreed to a one-year deal for the 2024 season. Over the past four seasons with the Ravens, Harrison, a former Ohio State linebacker, has amassed 120 tackles, four tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 61 games, with 27 of those being starts.
Returning to Baltimore, Harrison adds significant experience to the linebacker corps. Meanwhile, Patrick Queen, drafted 28th overall by the Ravens in 2020, is currently exploring free agency, although the team is eager to retain him as an All-Pro.
During his collegiate career at Ohio State, Harrison showcased his talent in 42 games, accumulating 205 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, nine sacks, nine pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, and one interception. He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition in 2018 and first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2019, his first year as a starter.

Harrison’s journey to the NFL began in Columbus, where he attended Walnut Ridge High School, participating in both football and basketball. Despite being a three-star prospect, he demonstrated versatility on the field, playing various positions including quarterback, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, and safety throughout his high school career.
