Former LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese, now playing for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, has added another accomplishment to her impressive resume. LSU announced Friday that Reese has graduated, a milestone the 6-foot-3 forward hinted at earlier in the week. With a bachelor’s degree now to her name, she adds this to her 2023 national title and SEC Player of the Year honors.
“Ahhh I graduate on Saturday!!! ON TIME IN MY 4 YEARS. I don’t have to wake up and think about another assignment lmaoooo. I called my momma & she’s running around the house so happy because she knows all the odds that were against me & she’s so happy it’s all over and I can live my best life now,” Reese posted on X.
The post proudly declared, “Angel Reese – an LSU grad.” While Reese hasn’t confirmed if she’ll attend the graduation ceremony on Saturday, it seems unlikely as the Sky are scheduled to play the Dallas Wings in Arlington, Texas, at 7 p.m. the same day. Earlier this week, she scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in her debut for the Sky.
