Michigan football has excelled in securing top-100 commitments for the 2025 recruiting class. The Wolverines signed just one such recruit in each of the previous two classes but already have four committed for 2025.
Andrew Olesh, Kainoa Winston, Nate Marshall, and Ivan Taylor are all top-100 prospects. Three are defensive players, while Olesh, a four-star tight end, is the latest top-100 commitment.
Michigan football secured Olesh during the last official visit weekend. Heading into the upcoming recruiting BBQ, the Wolverines aim to finalize commitments from recruits like Andrew Marsh, Jerome Myles, and Jayden Sanders. Andrew Babalola is also a target, though he is not expected to attend the BBQ.
Confidence is growing that Andrew Marsh will commit to Michigan football. Marsh, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound wide receiver from Katy, Texas, is ranked 58th overall in the 2025 class, and Michigan is considered the frontrunner. Both crystal ball predictions favor the Wolverines, and the On3 prediction machine gives Michigan an 86 percent chance of securing his commitment.
According to EJ Holland of The Wolverine, Washington and Kentucky are also contenders for Marsh. However, Holland, who previously projected Marsh to Michigan, has increased his confidence level from 60/100 to 75/100.
This bodes well for Michigan football heading into the weekend. The Wolverines are also gaining traction with Myles, another top-100 wide receiver, and are competing with Stanford for the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola.
