The Buckeyes did have a significant loss at the running back position this offseason, and it didn’t include a player. Still, a running back coach, Tony Alford, left the team in early March to head to their biggest rival, Michigan, to take the same position. TreVeyon Henderson

Many were wondering how Ohio State would be able to recruit the position without a current running back coach. Still, it didn’t seem to slow down the Buckeyes because, on Monday, Steve Wiltfong from On3.com reported that he had predicted Ohio State would land four-star running back Jordon Davison.

The Buckeyes Landing Davison Would Be Great

According tohttps://sakasportsnews.com/Davison is a four-star recruit and the 10th-best player in the 2025 class. He is from California and attends Mater Dei High School.

It’s a pretty big deal that the Buckeyes were predicted to land a running back without the Buckeyes even having a current running back coach on the staff, and that shows you how great of a football school and program Ohio State is.
