Ohio State is having a great offseason at the running back position, acquiring and keeping players like senior running back TreVeyon Henderson, who could have been one of the top running backs in this year’s NFL Draft but decided to return to school and laned the best running back in the transfer portal in Ole Miss Quinshon Judkins.
The Buckeyes did have a significant loss at the running back position this offseason, and it didn’t include a player. Still, a running back coach, Tony Alford, left the team in early March to head to their biggest rival, Michigan, to take the same position. TreVeyon Henderson
Many were wondering how Ohio State would be able to recruit the position without a current running back coach. Still, it didn’t seem to slow down the Buckeyes because, on Monday, Steve Wiltfong from On3.com reported that he had predicted Ohio State would land four-star running back Jordon Davison.

It’s a pretty big deal that the Buckeyes were predicted to land a running back without the Buckeyes even having a current running back coach on the staff, and that shows you how great of a football school and program Ohio State is.
