The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to dominate the 2025 recruiting class, further solidifying their top-ranked status. As of Thursday, they held the No. 1 spot nationally, boasting commitments from 19 players, 18 of whom have at least one four-star rating from major recruiting services.
On Thursday afternoon, they added their 20th commitment with Brody Lennon, a three-star tight end from Gilmour Academy in Cleveland, OH, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Lennon announced his decision enthusiastically, stating, “I’m staying home! Let’s go Bucks!!”
Lennon chose Ohio State over Kentucky, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Penn State, becoming the second tight end in the class alongside Washington (OK) four-star Nate Roberts. His decision followed an official visit to Columbus on June 21, and he had received an offer from the Buckeyes on June 13.\
Ranked as a consensus three-star recruit, Lennon is the No. 487 overall player in the country, the No. 27 tight end, and the No. 19 player in Ohio, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. In his junior year at Gilmour, Lennon recorded 32 receptions for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning Second-Team All-State and First-Team All-District honors, as reported by 247Sports.
