Preston Bowman remains committed to the Wildcats despite interest from the Buckeyes.
Class of 2025 wide receiver Preston Bowman committed to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday following a visit to Lexington earlier in the week. Before his commitment, Bowman’s top offers included Kentucky, Michigan, and Louisville. However, just a day after committing to Kentucky, Ohio State extended an offer to Bowman.

Despite this new offer, the 3-star prospect from Pickerington North confirmed to KSR that he is still committed to Kentucky. Kentucky first offered Bowman in the summer of 2022, marking his first Division I offer. After the dismissal of Scott Woodward, new receivers coach Daikiel Shorts reassessed Bowman and, along with Vince Marrow, re-offered him.
Bowman is now the third wide receiver to commit to Kentucky for the 2025 class, joining Quinton Simmons and Ja’Kayden Ferguson. Last season, as a junior, Bowman caught 43 passes for 713 yards and nine touchdowns.
