The Pittsburgh Steelers are eyeing a new addition to their wide receiver corps.
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers could be considering a trade for a wide receiver, with Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk likely unavailable. One potential option worth monitoring is a trade with Tennessee.
The Titans are assessing the remaining free agency market, having already signed Tyler Boyd and Zay Jones. With Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins on the roster, they seem poised for another signing, possibly signaling the end for Treylon Burks.
According to ESPN’s Mike Clay, all signs point to Tennessee moving on from their former first-round pick.
Burks could be a more budget-friendly option compared to Samuel, Aiyuk, or other top wide receiver targets linked to Pittsburgh this offseason. At 24 years old, he still has room for growth and could slot in as an immediate starter without demanding a hefty salary next season.
With Tyler Boyd and Zay Jones visiting, it really seems like the Titans are planning to move on from Treylon Burks.
I'm curious to see if a WR-needy team takes a shot on the 24-year-old former first round pick.

While he hasn’t had standout seasons during his two years with the Titans, he could serve as a WR2/WR3 alongside George Pickens and Roman Wilson in Pittsburgh. There’s potential upside, but also some risk associated with the move, mainly on-field performance rather than financial risk.
The cost of a trade for Burks and whether he’s on the Steelers’ radar remains uncertain. However, as Tennessee prepares for his potential departure, it’s likely that Omar Khan and the Steelers front office are at least considering the option.
