Phoenix Suns News: After a humiliating sweep by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the Suns are determined to make a strong comeback this season.
The front office has been actively reshaping the roster for a rebound year and is now eyeing six-time All-Star Kyle Lowry to bolster their efforts.
Phoenix Suns Linked to Kyle Lowry
According to team insider Gerard Bourguet of PHNX Sports, Lowry has become a viable free-agent target for the Suns. The report suggests that Lowry might also return to the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2024-25 season. The 38-year-old finished the previous season with the 76ers, averaging 8.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.
Phoenix’s Back-Up Plan
Due to Lowry’s impressive resume, other teams are likely to express interest, which could complicate Phoenix’s pursuit of the former NBA champion guard, who is currently an unrestricted free agent.
