BREAKING NEWS:Miami Dolpiners still active in postseason despite kansas city loss

The Miami Dolphins’ postseason journey came to an end with a 27-6 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night. As Dolphins fans shift their focus to the offseason, there’s an opportunity to support former Dolphins players who are still in contention for a Super Bowl championship. In the upcoming wild-card matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions on Sunday, four former Dolphins, now part of these teams’ rosters and practice squads, will be taking the field. Let’s take a closer look at the players who once wore the aqua and orange and are participating in this game.

Drafted in 2017 as a first-round pick from Missouri, Harris faced challenges in meeting the expectations associated with his draft position during his three seasons with the Miami Dolphins. Across 41 games, he accumulated 61 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two passes defensed, and one fumble recovery before eventually being traded to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a seventh-round pick.

Ahead of the 2022 season, Bridgewater joined the Dolphins as a free agent on a one-year contract. His stint with the team lasted five games, stepping in due to injuries to Tua Tagovailoa, before eventually departing for the Detroit Lions later in the same season. During his time with the Dolphins, Bridgewater showcased a 62% completion rate, throwing for 683 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions, resulting in an 85.6 passer rating.

Miami signed Jones as an undrafted free agent from Ole Miss in 2020, and he spent his initial two seasons with the Dolphins. However, during the 2022 roster cuts, Jones was released. Throughout his time with the Dolphins, spanning six games, he contributed with two tackles.

Agude inked a deal with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in May, following a collegiate journey that saw him move from Riverside Community College to UCLA before landing in Miami. Despite his signing, the 24-year-old was released during the final roster cuts, meaning he did not have the opportunity to play in a regular-season game with the team.

Picked up by the Dolphins in the third round of the 2021 draft from Boston College, Long struggled to make a significant impact and was eventually traded to Los Angeles as part of the deal for cornerback Jalen Ramsey. During his time with Miami, spanning 16 games, Long managed only one reception for eight yards.
