This performance has attracted significant interest from the Premier League, with West Ham leading the pursuit of the versatile attacker.

Silva, a right-footed player who has recently played on the left wing, has excelled at cutting inside to attack the goal. He is also capable of playing as a central striker or on either wing.

Reports from Portugal indicate that West Ham are preparing a bid, though it is expected to be slightly below Silva’s £17m release clause.

According to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Silva is getting closer to moving abroad, with numerous clubs outside Portugal showing interest.

Although other clubs are rumored to be interested, West Ham currently appear to be in the best position to secure a deal for the promising player.

Vitoria Guimaraes have priced out rival Portuguese teams, intentionally avoiding selling to a club in the same division.

Last season, Vitoria narrowly missed qualifying for the Europa Conference League, with Silva scoring in the first leg playoff against NK Celje. He was substituted in both legs after receiving a booking.

Silva also received his first call-up to the Portugal squad, playing in friendlies against Sweden and Slovenia.

West Ham Leading but Aiming to Lower Price

A Bola’s report confirms that West Ham are at the forefront despite other Premier League interest.

Now, Julen Lopetegui must decide if West Ham will meet Vitoria’s asking price for Silva.

With Silva’s contract set to expire at the end of the next season in 2025, West Ham might wait to apply pressure on Vitoria to lower the price.
