Georgia offensive lineman Cortez Smith will announce his college choice on Saturday, deciding between Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, and South Carolina.
This decision has been a long time coming for 4-star Parkview (Ga.) offensive lineman Cortez Smith.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound interior lineman has been a top college football target since middle school. He has attended game visits and camps early in the 2025 recruiting cycle and received many of his offers during his freshman and sophomore years at Parkview.
Now, he’s ready to commit to one of the four schools he officially visited in June: South Carolina (May 31-June 2), Miami (June 7-9), Georgia Tech (June 14-16), and Georgia (June 21-23).
With hats on the table, who will choose Georgia on Saturday?
Georgia is actively recruiting several players making college decisions this weekend.
As is common this time of year, Georgia will have its hat in the ring — both literally and figuratively — on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are contenders for several Class of 2025 recruits approaching decision time. July 20 has been marked as a key date with multiple Georgia targets announcing their choices since early summer. Now, the day has arrived.
Four prospects, including Cortez Smith, will make their decisions on Saturday, with Georgia among the potential destinations.
