The Falcons are poised to add a pair of experienced defensive players who participated in the team’s rookie minicamp.
According to agent David Canter, as reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, defensive lineman Bradlee Anae and defensive back Dane Cruikshank will be joining the NFC South club. There is no information about any corresponding roster moves.
Anae spent the last two seasons with the Jets but did not play in any regular-season games. He spent the 2022 season on the practice squad and was placed on injured reserve last spring. Originally drafted by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2020 draft, Anae recorded two tackles in 11 games with the team.
Cruikshank appeared in two games for the Titans last season and played in 44 games for the team during an earlier four-season stint. He spent the 2022 season with the Bears.
