The Georgia Bulldogs have been actively securing commitments for the 2025 recruiting class, and now they’re also focusing on the class of 2026. They’ve recently welcomed defensive back Jontavius Wyman, who has announced his commitment to Georgia
Jontavius Wyman, hailing from Jonesboro High School in Georgia, is ranked as the 154th-best player in the country, the 12th-best defensive back, and the 19th-best player in Georgia for the 2026 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. Earlier this year, he received an offer from Georgia, alongside many other power five programs. With Wyman’s commitment, he joins quarterback Jared Curtis, the only other commitment in the class so far. Curtis committed to Georgia back in March and is rated as a five-star prospect, the eighth-best player in the nation, and the top quarterback for the 2026 recruiting class. While the Bulldogs still have plenty of time before the 2026 class finalizes, they’re making strong progress with the early commitments of Wyman and Curtis.
