Injury Updates: Buffalo Bills expect linebacker to return soon, following injury

In Orchard Park, N.Y., Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano received disappointing news in August: he would be unable to return to the field after recovering from a previous injury. This time, a bicep injury in the preseason sidelined him. Before the bicep injury, Milano had missed the last 12 games of the 2023-24 season due to a broken leg.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano is progressing well in his recovery from a preseason biceps injury. On Monday, Coach Sean McDermott announced that Milano’s 21-day practice window has been activated, allowing him to participate in team practices. While Milano won’t be available for the upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team anticipates his return to game action in the near future.

Coach McDermott praised Milano’s dedication to his rehabilitation, stating, “He’s done a phenomenal job with, along with our trainers, of getting back to where he can get back out there.” The team plans to assess his progress weekly to determine his readiness for game participation.

Milano’s return is highly anticipated, as he is a key contributor to the Bills’ defense. His presence is expected to bolster the team’s performance as they continue their strong season.
