Caitlin Clark continues to do what she does best: shatter records.
The Indiana Fever sensation set a new WNBA rookie record for 3-pointers in a season on Wednesday night during an 84-80 victory over the Connecticut Sun. Clark entered the game with 85 3-pointers, tied with the previous record set by Rhyne Howard in 2022. However, after draining a 26-foot shot early in the first quarter, she claimed the rookie record for herself.

The Indiana Fever standout set a new WNBA rookie record for 3-pointers in a season on Wednesday night in an 84-80 win over the Connecticut Sun.
Clark started the night tied with Rhyne Howard’s 2022 record of 85 3-pointers but took sole possession of the milestone with a 26-foot jumper early in the first quarter.
Clark ended the night hitting 3 of 7 from beyond the arc, pushing her season total to 88 3-pointers. With nine games left, that number is likely to keep climbing.
