247Sports has released its updated rankings for the 2025 recruiting class.
The highest-ranked Kentucky football commitment is Cedric Works, an edge rusher from Clayton (Ohio) Northmont. Works committed to UK football after his official visit and is the nation’s No. 86 prospect overall, receiving a 93 rating, which ranks him as the No. 11 edge rusher in the country.
Javeon Campbell, a defensive lineman from Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills, committed to the Wildcats in July. He is rated a 92, making him the nation’s No. 15 defensive lineman and the No. 109 prospect overall.
Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow wide receiver Quintin Simmons Jr. is the third commitment for Kentucky. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 16 wide receiver and the No. 161 prospect overall with a 91 grade. The fourth Kentucky commitment in the Top247 is Paducah (Ky.) Tilghman safety Martels Carter Jr., who is the nation’s No. 19 safety and the No. 223 prospect overall. Vince Marrow, the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator, has been the primary recruiter for all four players.
The highest-rated uncommitted target for Kentucky is Fulshear (Tex.) Katy Jordan wide receiver Andrew Marsh. Marsh, who visited Lexington in June, is considered the nation’s No. 10 wide receiver and the No. 66 prospect overall. Although the 247Sports Crystal Ball currently favors Michigan, he is a close friend of UK commitment Ja’Kayden Ferguson.
Dawayne Galloway, a one-time cornerback target from Columbus (Ohio) Marion-Franklin, is rated a 91, ranking him as the nation’s No. 23 cornerback and the No. 207 prospect overall. Galloway committed to Purdue over the Wildcats on July 5. Kentucky offered Greer (S.C.) Riverside tight end Mikkel Skinner, who is committed to Cincinnati, on Tuesday. Skinner is rated a 91, ranking him as the nation’s No. 12 tight end and the No. 212 prospect overall.
Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County linebacker Tavion Wallace, the younger brother of former UK linebacker Trevin Wallace, is ranked a 94 by 247Sports. He is considered the nation’s No. 3 linebacker and the No. 39 prospect overall. Wallace recently committed to Arkansas.
Former Kentucky football commitment Isaiah West, a running back from Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep, is ranked as the nation’s No. 12 running back and the No. 218 prospect overall. West has since committed to Ohio State.
