LSU 5-star Commit To Ohio State 

Dakorien Moore, a wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, who is committed to LSU, mentioned that he’s still considering four schools, with Ohio State being one of them. He visited Ohio State during one of their spring practices in March. He was supposed to visit again for the Buckeyes’ spring game on April 13, but it got postponed and rescheduled for April 27. However, due to his commitment to play in the OT7 7-on-7 tournament in Orlando, his plans for the visit were uncertain, as his mother stated they needed to figure things out.

Ja’Had Carter, who committed to Ohio State in January 2023 after transferring from Syracuse, is back in the transfer portal after nearly 16 months. He had a successful tenure at Syracuse, making significant contributions, but struggled with injuries and limited playing time during his time at Ohio State. Carter is now seeking a program where he can have a more prominent role in his final collegiate season.

The highest-rated players in the college football transfer portal era have made significant impacts, with Caleb Williams, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, leading the way. Among the top transfers is a former five-star recruit, Sayin, who transferred from Alabama to Ohio State and is expected to play a key role in the Buckeyes’ quarterback room.
