Following that, he visited Texas and stayed for multiple days, where he was hosted by Steve Sarkisian and the team, staying at the Four Seasons Hotel and enjoying a Lamborghini ride around the city.
Instead of going to Colorado as planned, Williams opted to visit Missouri.
His final stop was in Baton Rouge, where LSU made a strong impression, but Texas and Oklahoma made a late push.
Both Texas and Oklahoma had last-minute meetings with Williams before he made his decision. Ultimately, Oklahoma’s NIL package and the opportunity to play in the SEC were decisive factors.
