The Sun Devils remaining spots in the 2025 Signing Class for National Signing Day on February 5

Kenny Dillingham and the recruiting team effectively leveraged the success on the field to attract several highly sought-after prospects, resulting in the signing of 21 incoming freshmen for Arizona State’s Early Signing Class. The Sun Devils still have multiple openings for the 2025 Signing Class, with National Signing Day scheduled for February 5. Following their diligent efforts in recruiting, the Arizona State coaching staff will now assess potential transfer candidates as the transfer portal opens on December 9. Announcements regarding transfers and any new additions to the freshman class will be made throughout the Spring.

ASU’s Signing Class of 2025 Highlights: 

  • All 21 members of Arizona State’s early signing class are freshmen.
  • Among the signees, 11 are 6’4″ or taller, which includes six offensive linemen (6 OL, 2 WR, 1 ATH, 1 TE, 1 DL).
  • Four of the new offensive linemen weigh over 315 pounds.
  • Arizona State has recruits from eight different states, with Texas contributing the most at six signees. Additionally, there are at least two signees each from California (5), Hawaii (3), Arizona (2), and Nevada (2).
  • The Class of 2025 features athletes in 10 different positions, predominantly from the offensive line (5).
  • Seven recruits hail from high school programs that were ranked in the MaxPreps Top-25 at some point this season.
  • The Sun Devils secured commitments from several schools that finished in the MaxPreps Top-25, including Duncanville (#3), Bishop Gorman (#4), Orange Lutheran (#13), and Centennial (#15).
  • Cameron Dyer (ATH) is recognized as one of the Top-10 athlete prospects in the class by all four major recruiting services and is also listed among the Top-250 overall prospects nationally.
  • Dyer and AJ Ia (TE) are both consensus four-star recruits, while the remaining 19 signees are considered consensus three-star prospects.
  • Nine recruits are regarded as a Top-20 overall prospect within their respective states.

  • Ables possesses a slender build and has the ability to stretch the field, filling a crucial need for the Sun Devils.
  • In his senior year at Plano East, he recorded 16 receptions for 245 yards and four touchdowns across six games, as reported by MaxPreps.
  • During his junior year at Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas, he caught 53 passes for 783 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games. He concluded his standout sophomore season with 50 catches for 627 yards and seven touchdowns.
  • He is a unanimous three-star prospect, ranked as the No. 92 player in Texas by ESPN and No. 93 by On3. He is also recognized as a Top-150 prospect in the state by 247Sports and a top-150 receiver nationally in both the 247Sports Composite Rankings (118) and On3’s Industry Rankings (136).   • Although he played cornerback in high school, he is being recruited as a safety. He is known for his physicality and ability to deliver big hits, along with the speed to keep up with opponents in coverage. He can effectively play both near the line of scrimmage and in coverage.
  • Alefaio-Lilii has been selected for the 2025 Polynesian Bowl following a successful tenure at Orange Lutheran, one of the top high school programs in the nation, ranked in the Top-15 by MaxPreps and third in California.
  • He helped lead Orange Lutheran to the semifinals of the 2024 CIF Southern Section Football Championships, finishing the season with an 8-4 record while facing four nationally ranked teams.
  • He is teammates with fellow ASU recruit AJ I’a.
  • In his senior year, he recorded three interceptions and made 38 tackles, totaling 69 tackles over his last two varsity seasons.

  • An athletic local talent, Bacon showcased his skills on both offense and defense for a 10-win team this season but is expected to play linebacker at ASU.
  • In his senior year at Kellis, he recorded 88 tackles, two interceptions, three pass breakups, and three forced fumbles. He also played running back for the Cougars, accumulating 783 rushing yards and scoring 12 touchdowns, along with 14 receptions for 187 yards.
  • Over his high school career, he surpassed 1,200 rushing yards and over 500 receiving yards, totaling 22 touchdowns along with more than 100 career tackles, nine sacks, four interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
  • Bacon led Kellis to a 10-2 record in 2024 and reached the AIA 5A quarterfinals.
  • This season, he finished with 88 tackles, adding 3.5 sacks to his impressive stats, along with two interceptions, three pass breakups, and three forced fumbles.

  • Butler is projected to be an ideal slot receiver at the collegiate level, demonstrating both quick acceleration and the speed to outrun defenders.
  • He has recorded a top speed of 21.94 MPH using the Catapult system and is a standout track athlete, achieving personal bests of 10.55 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.43 seconds in the 200 meters.
  • He contributed to Centennial’s success this season, helping the team achieve a No. 15 national ranking according to MaxPreps and reach the CIF Southern Section Division 1 semifinals, where they faced the top-ranked team, Mater Dei.
  • Over three years of varsity football, Butler has made 139 receptions for 2,407 yards and scored 24 touchdowns, along with accumulating 377 kick return yards—285 of which were gained in his senior year—plus two rushing touchdowns in 2024.
